Overview - The BioKM™ Platform

Biodata has created BioKMTM, a modular knowledge management system for the laboratory. Modular independent components were designed to provide a system that can fully integrate and expand as the laboratory and projects grow. This software system provides traceability in the lab, complying with all GxP regulations
Overview : The Home page contains a top-level list of projects and milestones that the employee is currently assigned. Messages can be sent, and the location of boxes and tubes can be assigned.

Catalog : This page contains the location and ordering information for all products and reagents used in the lab, to reduce stock and purchases. Read more ...
The BioCollections module compiles all the biological collections that are in the lab, like the seeds, cell lines, flies, histological preparations and libraries and bacteria. More...
Molecular : The Molecular module compiles information about genes, nucleic acids, plasmids, primers and antibodies. There is a transparent connection between the gene, plasmid and location (or tube) as shown.
